To comply with G100 Issue 2 Amendment 2, your system must be a Victron Energy ESS and be configured as a microgrid.
The OffGrid Pro G100 CLS monitors grid power data from the Victron GX device, which must be configured to monitor power at the property's main point of connection (POC) —either through the inverter(s) internal meter or an external energy meter.
This setup must include a controllable main incoming contactor—either using the one built into the inverter or installed separately at the POC configured to be normally open.
This requirement ensures that if the CLS enters State 3 due to any detected fault, the system will fully disconnect from the grid. This prevents any breach of the Maximum Export Limit (MEL) or Maximum Import Limit (MIL), as specified in section 4.3.3 of the G100 standard.
The CLS must also be powered from a benign power supply with cables that do not exceed 3 meters in length to stay compliant with the UKCA.
You must also have at least v3.70 or later running on your Cerbo GX or other device for the controls to appear on the GX Touch / Remote Console. Though earlier versions should work, they are untested and therefore we cannot guarantee functionality.
